Today we held the first lesson in the newly opened printing house in the Lev Information Center. Maria Andryukhina and Darya Glasova showed the first group of students how to print leaflets on a professional printer and how to trim edges evenly on a cutter. We haven't gotten to the booklet maker and laminator yet, we'll master everything gradually.

Anya and Liza approached the new business very responsibly, listened attentively to the theory and used the equipment carefully. Dasha was a little afraid to use the cutter, but under Daria's guidance everything worked out, the technique still needs to be worked out, but a general understanding of what and how to do was formed. Grisha also seemed to understand everything and tried, but everyone will definitely need to consolidate their new skills.

The appearance of a small printing house in the Lev IC is a very important moment for us. This way we will be able to teach the children quite working skills of an office manager or assistant in a real printing house. The ultimate goal of such classes is to make sure that teenagers with disabilities have various useful skills in their everyday and professional life. This way they will be able to be more independent and confident in the future.
