The main activity of the Center is social adaptation and integration of special children into the environment with ordinary students of the Lyceum. We create such an atmosphere and conditions for our wards to feel comfortable, confident, and not to experience fear and anxiety during classes.
Thus, children make contact more easily, become more sociable and trusting of teachers and peers, and voice their needs and desires. In a friendly environment, a child may develop an interest in some new activity, and their creative potential may be revealed. This is how the process of social adaptation and integration gradually begins.
Our task is to ensure that every child and teenager masters self-care skills, cultural and hygienic skills, and easily adapts to some minor and larger changes in the environment.
We cannot guarantee that all children will have positive dynamics and some radical changes in social adaptation and integration. All children have different illnesses and current conditions, regularity of visits to the Center, and the degree of parental involvement in the process. But we definitely try to give everything we can and know how to do to all our wards equally.
We understand that successful social adaptation and integration directly affect the child's future prospects. Their ability to live independently, to become part of society and to be employed.
