  • Third Level of Integration
A child or teenager with disabilities acts as a mentor in groups with regular schoolchildren or with Lev Center's charges. Similarly, a lyceum student can be a mentor in groups with children and teenagers with disabilities.

For example, a teenager with autism who practices painting can conduct a master class for lyceum students. Schoolchildren teach children with disabilities to play musical instruments.

For Parents of Children and Teenagers with Disabilities:
The readiness of a child or teenager with disabilities for integration into society directly depends on their parents' psychological state. Our goal is to provide parents with knowledge and help them master methods that will help their child's integration succeed.

The Center's task is to help families with the socialization of children or teenagers with disabilities. It's important to make a person with disabilities part of society where they will have the same rights as an ordinary healthy person; bring benefit to someone; help others like themselves and become less dependent on parents.

Parents and Center specialists become partners with a common goal. Constant interaction allows achieving it more effectively than if all participants acted separately. At the Lev Center, psychologists regularly communicate with families in individual or group meetings.
Programs for Schoolchildren:
"Lessons of Kindness" Loyalty Program
Lessons are conducted in the format of training sessions, lectures, and psychological games for students in grades 1-11. The lesson format depends on the age of children or teenagers in the group. The task is to tell schoolchildren about children with disabilities, various diagnoses, developmental features, how to properly communicate with them, react, and understand.

Currently, "Lessons of Kindness" are conducted only at Or Avner Lyceum, but we plan to conduct them in other Novosibirsk schools in the future.
"I am a Volunteer" Mentorship School
At "I am a Volunteer" classes, Lev Center psychologists and teachers train students in grades 7-11 to be volunteers and mentors for special children. Lyceum students learn about types of volunteering, specifics of inclusive volunteering, and its main tasks.
Integration:
In order to prepare children with disabilities for integration, we conduct events where we develop children's ability to adapt to constantly changing environmental conditions.

Specialists conduct classes with children on psychocorrection, speech development, sensory stimulation, adaptive physical development, aquatherapy, general health improvement and much more.

For each ward, we select the optimal set of classes and procedures in accordance with the child's condition and capabilities.
For School Teachers:
We conduct monthly training sessions and lectures for teachers about interaction between teachers and schoolchildren with special children.

The main tasks for teachers: understanding the characteristics and potential of children with disabilities, how to properly build communication so that it's effective and comfortable for all participants.
